Nurse Tracey

Veterinary Nurse,
Veterinary Receptionist,
Surgical Nurse and
Office Manager.

We would like to introduce you to Tracey, a Queenslander who joined our practice in 2002. Tracey started caring for animals at a young age, as her family ran a wildlife refuge as well as having dogs and cats as pets.
Having spent many years studying Veterinary Nursing, Tracey is currently studying towards a certificate 3 in business studies. Her administrative and organisational skills are important in the smooth running of our practice.
Tracey describes her dog Tiggy as a Maltese x Bichon with issues! Tiggy, a pet shop puppy, had emergency surgery for an intestinal blockage at three months of age. Tracey nursed her back to health, fell in love with her and that was that.
Tracey is the coordinator, and one of the instructors of our popular puppy preschool classes. Puppies (and their owners) attend four sessions on either a Monday or Wednesday evening. The puppies romp and play while Tracey, talks about puppy health, care and training. Over the years Tracey has made a great many friends amongst our clients and has closely followed the adventures of many of our patients.
Tracey has a wealth of experience which allows her to give sound advice on many problems. She is very capable of assessing the needs of patients and a great person to have around in an emergency.
